Weed Monkeys Clean Up Dartmouth
Our Weed Monkeys team from River Dart Rotary had a fantastic morning cleaning up Dartmouth! In a two-pronged assault, our nine-member squad tackled Newcomen Road and continued along Higher Street. We were thrilled to welcome Keith Williams for his first session—great to have you on board, Keith!
Dave and John took on the heavily weeded area in front of Holsworthy House, making a massive difference—top banana, guys! The team’s hard work was appreciated by the community, with one grateful resident donating £20. The manager of Bula shop captured a team photo, which was shared on their Instagram feed.
Although Julie Downing missed the team photo, we can confirm she was there, contributing to the effort. It was an excellent morning all round! Check out the ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos to see the transformation.
A call out for help!…
We are looking for a small storage or lock-up area in the centre of town for the equipment used by the Weed Monkey team. Ideally, it should be quite central for all of us to use.
