Bar 1620 is located in the heart of the beautiful river town of Dartmouth in the South Hams. Just off the south embankment river front, Bar 1620 is housed in the original post office sorting office, it is almost a secret to the untrained eye.

The once tired and neglected George & Dragon Pub in Dartmouth underwent a major transformation into a new Destination Venue that includes a huge new Main Bar, a seasonal Garden Bar for the fabulous large paved beer garden (the only one in Dartmouth!), a Coffee and Cake bar & the fresh new Boat Room Restaurant (also available for private dining!).
